Chapter Ride Price May 28th-31st

We will be holding two events in one here. Most of the trails will be in the Price area. Another smaller group will be going to the San Rafael Swell.

Because of the type of run we will be doing in the Swell, we have to limit it to a very small number of rigs. Here are a few of the stipulations.

• You must be a red name Member
• You must be able to pack, plan and be self sufficiant for four days.
• You must have the ability to pack at least 10 extra gallons of fuel. There will only be one fuel stop and we will travel several hundred miles in those four days

I have a couple of you on the list. georger, Mtntech are two. Who else wants to go. We will have to limit the group to the trail leaders and ten rigs.

Feel free to post up if you want to go but make sure you can. I have a feeling space will run out quickly.

Im still working through those details. We might camp the night before so we can prepare for the next day ahead of time. Or we might meet in Price with the group doing the Price trails.

I'm still working on a route through the Swell and some of it will depend on the route.

I'm committed. My jeep is on 31"s with 3.5" inches of lift. No lockers or armor. What can I expect?

Is it going to be race to get it done or will their be plenty of time each day for scenic views/pictures and casual camp set-up/take-down? Do we want to plan individual meals or group meals? Just wanting to start planning for this trip.

Nope, it will be a relaxed trip. I am planning several possible camp spots along each trail we are on so if we don't make it to one particular spot we can stay at one not quite so far a long. If we make good time, we will see more stuff. If we don't make good time it will just mean we are having a great time.

No group meals, this is going to have to be a complete do it yourself deal as we really won't know who will be with us and such.

I might need to camp a hundred yards away from everyone.....Sarah really wants to go and we would have the new month old baby along.(so others dont have to listen to the crying at night) I think it will end up just being me and gabby, but who knows when Sarah gets an idea in her head she is a hard stubborn one to change, just like me.

100 yards, that's less than what we normally have you camp near us.

I am in... I have been looking forward to this trip for the last few months. It has been mentioned to have an inspection of some sort. what all things should we check to make sure we dont brake down in the swell. I should be getting a Cobra 29 LTD BT and a K40 CB Antenna 56" whip come end of April.... Yea finally will have a CB.

I am now in an apartment complex so working on the jeep needs to be alot more planed then the randomness that it use to be. Just wanted to know what things should be checked.
